Tapping the Power of Yelp
162 million people visit Yelp on a monthly basis, and use it as a resource to make buying decisions. But it’s not just for restaurant reviews. Yelp users have contributed approximately 108 million cumulative reviews of almost every type of local business, from restaurants, boutiques and salons to dentists, mechanics, plumbers and more. These reviewers are using Yelp to share their everyday local business experiences, giving voice to consumers and bringing “word of mouth” online. Is your business tapping this powerful social network?
Join NMAMA and special guest Howie Kaibel, Senior Community Manager and Marketing Director of Yelp Albuquerque, as he shares an inside look at Yelp and how it connects people with great local businesses. He’ll discuss how he markets local venues, events and attractions – like the recent, highly successful Yelptropolis – and explain how a business can (and should) include Yelp as part of its social media marketing strategy.
