about new mexico ama

Established in 1983, The New Mexico Chapter of the American Marketing Association (NMAMA) represents marketing professionals throughout New Mexico. NMAMA provides a forum for the educational and professional development of its members by hosting numerous events and programs throughout the year.

NMAMA represents a FULL MIX of client-side, agency and marketing service providers. Over the past year, NMAMA has exposed the New Mexico marketing community to a variety of marketing related issues, trends and innovations at our luncheons, seminars and events.

Each month, professional marketing experts join us to network, discuss and hear presentations on a variety of marketing issues. Our growing list of members and all non-members are encouraged to attend the monthly networking luncheons, held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel-Downtown
at the corner of Tijeras and Third Street in Albuquerque. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m., and the lunch and speaker presentation start at noon.

New Mexico Chapter Mission

The mission of the New Mexico Chapter of the American Marketing Association is to become New Mexico's leading marketing organization, to serve the needs of our members and the marketing profession, and to provide networking events, professional development, communications, and opportunities to contribute to the marketing profession.

As a nonprofit organization dedicated to the marketing profession in New Mexico, NMAMA addresses three key objectives:

1. To develop and create leading-edge marketing knowledge and represent the voice of the marketing profession. NMAMA members look to the organization as their most important source of marketing information.

2. To provide the primary vehicle by which marketing professionals can connect with other marketers in the world to share information and network.

3. To offer career and job information for marketing professionals or those wanting to enter the marketing profession. NMAMA members and students look to the organization to help them in their career and professional development.
