Whether you are a student, at the beginning of your career, or a seasoned professional, the American Marketing Association will do more than connect you with its 30,000 members worldwide. Opportunities 

President-Elect

This is an elected Board position. The President-Elect supports the President in managing Chapter operations and meeting Chapter goals for the term. In collaboration with the rest of the Chapter leadership team – comprised of the President and Immediate Past President – the President-Elect assures compliance with AMA, facilitates Chapter operations, and ensures that offerings fulfill the Chapter’s mission and meet the needs of its membership and the greater community.

VP of Programming

This is an elected Board position. The Vice President Programming will develop and deliver educational programs, under the direction of the Board of Directors, by securing guest speakers, handling all venue and registration logistics, and coordinating monthly program content – plus any additional workshops, social events, awards programs, boot camps, webinars or other programs, as approved by the Board of Directors. The VP of Programming will direct and coordinate the activities of the Programming Committee, and keep the Board of Directors informed of progress on all programming efforts.

VP Sponsorship

This is an elected Board position. The VP Membership manages all Chapter efforts to recruit new AMA members and retain existing members, serves as the Chapter’s primary greeter and ambassador at all events, and provides regular updates to the Board on membership status.

Communications Committee member

Marketing communications experience essential. Strong writing and social media skills preferred.

Programming Committee member

Event management experience preferred. Project management skills, attention to detail a plus.
